today was combined sports meet (HCI+NYGH) and visit-to-SHPS!
yay. I am very happy. LOL okay whatever.
so I like woke up earlier today so that I could reach NYGH before 6.50, because all us BOMs are supposed to meet miss sabrina at hci track at 7.
turns out, our little 5-sec-long meeting was only about the attendance-taking, diao.
anyway yeah. sat in the sun. probably am slightly tanner, lol. csm was really cool! all that cheering. and the staff-student novelty races! mrs wong pro! yay.
saw elisa! and jasmine was the commentator! LOL I JEALOUS haha jasmine you looked so cute up there speaking into the mikey thing (: yay.

but lion dance was OK (: lol . there were so many hci people taking photos of the lion dance and looking ohsoprofessional xDDD
then met jeff and john at the bus stop (nygh). we were supposed to go visit shps with all the other shps-hci guys, but jeremy last minute couldn't make it, kendrick didn't reply my mail/sms, and daniel couldn't make it from the beginning. D: so it was a quiet ride all the way to shps. [thankfully only half an hour. it was so awkward DD: ]
then we saw our teachers! and our juniors! and the friendly security guard + malaystoreuncle! yay. haha I LOVE SHPS LOTS.

Just pray. Everything’s going to be alright.
I look at the children, flying down the slides, laughing derisively in their joy. At the end of the slide they pout before they are carried back to the top and the bells of their pleased shrieks ring again.
I look at the rainbow I had climbed and fallen from. All my life I climbed laboriously up those seven colours; I worked my way up to the top.
For a short-lived time the rain stopped and the rainbow shone through: I was at the top of the world, looking down at the world and laughing. It could never end.
But it did, and soon I was falling quickly, surely, dangerously; not believing what was happening, not daring to- the shrieks came from fright and not pleasure.
The ride up had been tough. Occasionally there had been clouds that had to be darted, mists that misled, and little helping stones to pull me up.
Bleeding in my memory, a stark contrast to my earlier joy, was the ride down, the roller coaster where there were no safety belts and where the path was littered with stones.
Except there was no rough tumble down to the end where I had thought I would fall to the ground, hurt, bruised and crying.
Someone lifted me up from the pain and dusted my shoulders; someone shook my shoulders and told me to pray and everything would be alright; someone consoled me, heard me and stopped me from crashing.
And I listened.
Where the rainbows end there are no deaths, no pain, no sorrow, if you only realize that all along there has been someone standing by you, someone to lift you up, someone who had not been ignoring your fall, but had been waiting for you to accept his help.
If you let the clouds clear and the mists past you’ll see,
That where the rainbows end
A pot of gold there’ll be.
I kneel down and clasp my hands to pray. Everything’s going to be alright.

friday.
after school, went to bugis with mum for shopping.
me: mum, this has been a failed shopping trip.
mum: but you bought something, remember?
me: fine. correction: this has been a failed shopping trip, because we only bought the necessary.

saturday.
what we did in the morning I cannot remember. oh yes. homework.

went out to crystal jade restaurant at tm for lunch with my grandgodma, aunty betty and aunty maureen who came from m'sia! yay. you know, they almost never come out of m'sia. in fact, is aunty maureen from m'sia? o_O or singapore. I don't know. ahwell.

went back, feeling emo cos of stomach ache. DD: sniffsniff.

and then 5ish
went bowling with family! hurray, I got another stomach ache (awww) and a LOT of longkangs during bowling. sniffsniff.
but I got a strike too! and then on my next turn a longkang. ROFL.
today.
catechism! during which my group was being exasperating. but clarence+sean+randy+wesley's grp was funny lol with their skit about your friend watching an x-rated movie. and our teachers are nice yay.
you know, I just found out like last wk or something that joyce, fred and thomas (fine, mum, HO REY) used to teach my older brother. yay.
but joyce teaches p5 now I think. saw her today!
sigh.
then we went to parkway for lunch! and borders. I wanted troubling a star! I mean. want. but they didn't have it despite the huge number of books they have.

and then now I'm doing my homework -or rather, DID, BUT SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME WITH MY MATHS CORRECTIONS I AM COMPLETELY CLUELESS ABOUT SOME OF THE QUESTIONS DD:- and taking a break. yay.

I calculated my average grade using mean and mode (haha maths) based on the results we have gotten back so far. we haven't gotten la (awww) and history (awww) back yet DD:
mean average grade (aka sum/no.): B3 (dang it stupid chinese)
mode average grade (aka most common): A1!
haha pwn. I got A1 for geog science and mathematics which is 3/4 of what I got back. for that remaining 1/4 I got C... something for chinese. the specific grade, you don't wanna know and I shan't tell you mwahahaa.
